Services
As a 102-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, Middle River provides 24-hour skilled nursing services, inpatient and outpatient therapy services, and Alzheimer’s/dementia care. All beds are Medicare certified.
From admission to discharge planning, we provide comprehensive care services that address your individual therapy, dietary, recreational, wellness and spiritual needs. Treating a wide range of conditions including those related to orthopedics, neurology, wound care, stroke, cardiology, and Alzheimer’s/dementia, our goal is to help you achieve your highest level of functioning.
Amenities
Upon admission, you may have your choice between a private or semi-private room based on bed availability. Most rooms have gorgeous views providing you with the opportunity to watch the abundant wildlife such as deer, birds, squirrels, and raccoons to name a few. Amenities include a beautiful dining room, outdoor patio with flower gardens, beauty shop, activity room, and day rooms with TV’s and craft areas. Those living at Middle River enjoy home-made meals and snacks. Special diets as prescribed by a physician are accommodated. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided on a daily basis.
Social Activities
Numerous activities such as bingo, church services, monthly birthday parties, sing-a-longs, special events with musical entertainment, and social outings to Luscious Woods, local casinos, favorite fishing holes, and restaurants provide life enriching opportunities for those choosing to call Middle River home. Volunteers are always welcome to assist with the many programs offered.
Accepted Payment
Middle River accepts Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and private pay. With the necessary paperwork, admissions are accepted seven (7) days per week.
